What you need to know about your Drive Test

All learner drivers have to pass two tests to get their licence:
  • Hazard Perception Test- a test requiring you to watch videos which shows real driving situations and you have to respond and identify potential hazards
  • On - road practical Drive Test - Takes approximately 30 mins and tests you on your ability to drive safely, car control, road rules and your ability to co-operate with other road users
What do I need to bring to my Drive Test?

  • Your current Victorian Learners Permit
  • Your Hazard Perception results
  • Your appointment number &/or appointment receipt
  • If your under 21 years and your learners permit was issued after 1 July 2007, you must bring your Learner Log Book
